SAFETY VALVE CALIBRATION
Safety valve calibration is the process of checking and adjusting a safety valve to make sure it opens at the correct pressure. This helps protect equipment from overpressure. The valve is tested using controlled air or water pressure, and adjusted if needed to match the required set point. Calibration also ensures the valve closes properly after releasing pressure. It is important for safety and to meet standards like DOSH or ASME.

PRESSURE GAUGE CALIBRATION
Pressure gauge calibration is the process of testing and adjusting a pressure gauge to ensure it shows accurate readings. This is done by comparing the gauge to a known standard using a pressure calibrator. If the reading is not correct, the gauge is adjusted or noted for error. Calibration ensures the gauge gives reliable results, which is important for safety, quality control, and compliance with standards such as DOSH or ISO. Regular calibration helps prevent equipment failure and ensures safe operation in pressure-related systems.

Machinery Annual Service & Maintenance

PRESSURE VESSEL (PMT)

Annual pressure vessel servicing as required by DOSH Malaysia involves thorough inspection and testing to ensure safe operation. This includes visual inspection, thickness gauging, safety valve testing, and hydrostatic pressure testing. Internal cleaning, gasket replacement, and non-destructive testing (NDT) may also be performed. All findings must be documented, and the vessel must pass inspection by a Competent Person (CP) before renewal by DOSH.

ELECTRIC HOIST (PMA)

Annual servicing of electric hoists, as required by DOSH Malaysia, involves inspection and testing to ensure safe and proper operation. This includes checking the hoist structure, wire rope or chain condition, braking system, limit switches, electrical components, and load test. Lubrication and necessary adjustments or repairs must be done. The inspection must be conducted by a Competent Person (CP), and a report should be submitted for DOSH renewal endorsement.

ELECTRIC BOILER (PMD)

Annual servicing of electric boilers, as required by DOSH Malaysia, includes internal and external inspection, safety valve testing, and checking pressure and temperature control systems. Electrical parts like relays, contactors, and control panels must be tested to ensure proper function. Non-destructive testing (NDT), such as ultrasonic thickness or dye penetrant tests, is done to detect wear, thinning, or cracks. Hydrostatic testing also be needed to verify pressure integrity.
